I was a huge fan of Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul.  I loved them on American Idol, I was sad to see Paula leave followed by Simon, and I was extremely happy to find out they would both be judges on the X Factor.

However, I lost all respect for both of them last week during the X Factor results show.

What happens on the X Factor results show is they take the 2 acts with the least amount of votes, have both acts "sing for their life" and the X Factor judges decide which act goes home.

Astro and Stacy Francis were in the bottom 2 last week, so they would have to have a sing off.  Astro, however, didn't see it that way.  He was too good to sing for his life, and only at LA Reid's (his mentor) request, did Astro go ahead and sing.

Well, he didn't actually sing.  It was more of a walk around the stage and talk/sing.  His entire demeanor burst with an "I don't give a shit" attitude.

The X Factor judges were less than impressed.  Simon Cowell went so far as telling him he disrespected his mom, the audience, and the show.

This is when I lost respect for Simon and Paula.  Even though Astro threw a temper tantrum, gave a very lackluster performance, and disrespected everyone involved, Simon and Paula sent him through.  Obviously they condone Astro's attitude.

Entertainmentwise.com wrote an article claiming Astro apologized via his Twitter.  In a horse's ass.

Astro defended his outburst and childish ways, claiming he is in the same class as Muhammad Ali.  Seriously?

Since when is a 15 year old unknown punk in the same class as Ali?

I really don't care how "talented" Astro may be, it's time for him to go.

And Simon and Paula, let's get back to judging the act, not how popular or marketable the act might be, because Astro not leaving last week is just ridiculous.  Furthermore, it makes the X Factor judges look like fools.
